How to use the monthly bonus calculator
- Enter the amount you plan to wager this month and the average house edge of your games.
- Find each past monthly bonus in your Stake email and the wager for that month in your transaction history. Enter the wager, house edge and bonus for each month.
- Read the estimate. The tool finds your bonus rate in past months and applies it to this month.
What decides the Stake monthly bonus?
Stake's help centre lists four inputs for weekly and monthly bonuses:
- Your VIP rank.
- The amount you wagered in the period.
- Your profit values in the period.
- The house edge of the games you played.
Wager × house edge is your expected loss. The calculator calls this the house-edge basis. Your bonus rate is your bonus divided by that basis.
Example
Last month you wagered $20,000 at a 1% house edge. The basis was $200, and Stake sent a $30 bonus. Your rate was 15%. This month you plan $40,000 at 1%. The basis is $400, so the estimate is 15% × $400 = $60.
Why other calculators give different numbers
Many monthly bonus calculators use a formula that players guessed from their own results. Stake has not confirmed any of these formulas. This tool uses your own past results instead.

Common questions
How is the Stake monthly bonus calculated?
Stake says monthly bonuses use your VIP rank, the amount you wagered in the month, your profit values and the house edge of your games. Stake does not publish the exact formula.
When is the Stake monthly bonus paid?
Stake pays the monthly bonus once per month and sends it by email. Stake does not publish a fixed date. If you get no email, Stake says you did not qualify that month.
How accurate is this monthly bonus calculator?
With past months entered, the estimate uses your own bonus rate. The estimate is accurate when Stake keeps your rate stable. Without past months, the tool shows only your expected loss, which is one of the inputs Stake names.
Does the monthly bonus depend on my VIP level?
Yes. Stake lists your VIP rank as one input. Your past bonuses already include the effect of your rank, so enter months from your current level for the best estimate.
